Out-of-production 37-foot monohull aft-cockpit fiberglasssloop or yawl from Tartan Yachts. Designed by Ted Hood. Formerly built in the USA. 32 produced from 1967 to 1971. Also called the Tartan 37 Blackwatch. Not to be confused with the later Tartan 37C designed by Sparkman & Stevens or the considerably later Tartan 37-2 designed by Tim Jackett.

Each Yachting Monthly issue from March 2001 through July 2004 contained short used boat reviews, with specifications and typical prices. The series covers almost 600 boats, but only about 15 per issue. For the complete set, order all 41 back issues or find a library that subscribes.
