Hans Christian 36

Out-of-production 36-foot monohull aft-cockpit fiberglasscutter from Union Yacht Company. Designed by Robert H. Perry. Formerly built in Taiwan. ~160 produced from 1974? to 1988. Also called the Union 36 or the Union Polaris 36. A stretched version of the Hans Christian 34. A few were built under this name, but soon the boatbuilder started marketing the design through dealers as the Mariner Polaris 36, Union 36, EO 36, Mao Ta 36, etc.
