Production 28-foot trimaran aft-cockpit fiberglasssloop from Corsair Marine, Inc.. Designed by Corsair Marine, based on Ian Farrier's original. Built in the USA. Produced from 1997. Also called the Corsair 28. Replaced the earlier F-27. Folds to 8-foot 2 inches wide. An "R" model has a taller but lighter rotating carbon fiber mast.

Builder-funded owners′ groups for the various models of Corsair trimaran. Organizes races and rendezvous. Site includes lots of photos, class mailing lists a crew list, and event schedules.
- The Corsair owners' group
The Sailnet Boat Owner Lists have hundreds of e-mail lists, each about one boat marque. Useful number of subscribers for most boats. Has a search facility, but you must choose a specific list.

Enter the name of the boat and get short reviews by owners. You can usually e-mail the owner with further questions. Already own a boat? Tell others her pros and cons.
- The Boatcheck Reviews
Yachting Monthly′s unique, free service can put you in touch with owners of similar boats for an honest and impartial opinion. Primarily for British and European boats.
- Contact YM for a second opinion
Each Yachting Monthly issue from March 2001 through July 2004 contained short used boat reviews, with specifications and typical prices. The series covers almost 600 boats, but only about 15 per issue. For the complete set, order all 41 back issues or find a library that subscribes.
