Calling itself the "family sport boat," the Colgate 26 is a designed primarily as an instructional boat, with overnight potential.

The Sailnet Boat Owner Lists have hundreds of e-mail lists, each about one boat marque. Useful number of subscribers for most boats. Has a search facility, but you must choose a specific list.

Yachting Monthly′s unique, free service can put you in touch with owners of similar boats for an honest and impartial opinion. Primarily for British and European boats.

Each Yachting Monthly issue from March 2001 through July 2004 contained short used boat reviews, with specifications and typical prices. The series covers almost 600 boats, but only about 15 per issue. For the complete set, order all 41 back issues or find a library that subscribes.
