Design review by Perry who says of this IMS design: "The D/L ratio of this design is 317. You can draw and calculate all you like, but I have yet to see a light steel boat. Ted has given the design sufficient volume to keep it on its lines, even fully loaded for cruising." The author, a yacht designer, looks at the design on paper, with comments on aesthetics and design technicalities.

Each Yachting Monthly issue from March 2001 through July 2004 contained short used boat reviews, with specifications and typical prices. The series covers almost 600 boats, but only about 15 per issue. For the complete set, order all 41 back issues or find a library that subscribes.
